This is a must have for anyone who loved the movie and loved the early 90s R&B/ hip-hop vibe. This soundtrack introduced the world to Toni Braxton and showcased a great roster of artists like Babyface, Boyz II Men, PM Dawn, Aaron Hall, Johnny Gill, A Tribe Called Quest/5(89).

Honestly, the song brought nothing to the table and reminds me of a poor man's "Burn it Up" (which itself was a bit dated). How YMC allowed this song to be the title track to start WO's "Golden Age" (i.e. final year together) is beyond me. The album's b-sides are loads better than "Boomerang".
  7. Goltitaxe says:
Although they were blessed from the start with stronger business connections and longer musical pedigree than most new hard rock acts of the early '70s, New York's promising Boomerang never lived up to commercial expectations, and their failed bid for stardom was both disappointing and fleeting. When the Vanilla Fudge rhythm section of Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice quit to form hard rockers.
  8. Vikasa says:
The soundtrack to Eddie Murphy's comedy Boomerang is actually better than the film itself. A fair portion of the record is devoted to mediocre material, but most of the album is first-rate contemporary urban soul, hip-hop, and new jack swing, highlighted by a number of massive hit singles, including Boyz II Men's "End of the Road," P.M. Dawn's "I'd Die Without You," Babyface and Toni Braxton's.
